Q: What is representational art?

A: Representational art is fine art produced by classically trained artists adhering to the body of knowledge built over the last 500 years. Generally speaking most great artists learn their trade from other masters.

Q: What is the "lost wax method"?

A: Bronze sculpture "lost wax method" is the method passed down and refined beginning from 300BC to the present. Taking a physical image, creating a reverse mold, wax, bronze casting.

Q: What makes your work different?

A: As a sculptor, I control the quality of my work by doing my own mold working, pouring, and improving my own waxes, and closely supervising and inspecting my pieces at the foundry.

Q: What is a limited edition?

A: When I create an original work of art I determine how many pieces, or "editions," I will produce. After the final edition is cast, I break and destroy the mold.

Q: Are the works copyrighted?

A: Yes, the copyright is held for 75 years after my death, and can be extended another 75 years. A third party cannot reproduce my work legally.

Q: Is each piece in the edition the same?

A: No. I personally work on each wax on every edition. This personal attention to detail maintains and improves quality in each piece of art.

Q: Do you accept commissions?

A: Yes! I consider myself a renaissance artist, and feel comfortable with any subject matter in any size up to monumental pieces.

Q: What is the time frame for ordering a limited edition sculpture?

A: Due to my strict adherence to quality 6-8 weeks is required from the time of order until delivery.

Q: What is patina?

A: Patina is the final color process on the bronze, which is done with chemicals and a torch. Each edition may vary slightly.
